It's a Sign (Or at Least in Double Oak Texas It Is)

While out garage saling last Saturday morning, I made a complete stop so I could take this photograph:

Double Oak Texas Stop Sign

Hey, at least the police in Double Oak, Texas warn first. And they may also have a slight sense of humor...

PS: I couldn't find one garage sale in Double Oak.

I love the sign--nice to know a town has a sense of humor. I'm not at all surprised you did not find a garage sale there though. Perhaps that town is a little too hoity-toity for garage sales?

I love that! I would totally come to a complete stop to read that!

Hahaha- I've never seen a sign like that! It must have been cheaper to purchase the sign than to use their police resources to enforce the full stop.

HAHA! That's hilarious...thanks for the warning Mr. police man!

*Katie*, I agree!

Mindee, You're welcome :)

Nicole, I'm thinking you're right.

Semi-Slacker Mom, As I did...

Foursons, Funny thing was that I didnt once see a Double Oak police car while there. They were all cops from a neighboring town.

Pixel Perfect, Right on.

I bet money that this stop sign gets more complete stops than any other in the whole of the United States. That's awesome!

Bummer about the garage-free lifestyle of Double Oak last Sunday. Sad...

DangGina, You're probably right on the stop sign. Either that or the midget signs in Marshal Creek Texas.

Pia, They need to make more of them. Wait. There are in that town. Rephrase: There needs to be more of them in other towns just to make me laugh.
