Our Adventures at the Texas/Oklahoma Border

So my husband, kids and I went fossil hunting today around Lake Texoma and Denison, Texas. We found quite a collection of ammonites, echinoids, gastropods, musssels, clams, worm tubes and interesting mineral specimens. But the coolest find lay right over the border in Cartwright, Oklahoma...the Cartwright "City Hall."

The sign reads:

Cartwright City Hall

Incorporated November 7, 2006

Unicorporated May 7, 2007

3% Sales Tax R.I.P.

Made me chuckle!
